Friday, February 24, I was invited at the seminar “Work and creativity: an international approach”, animated by Emmanuellle Savignac and Yanita Andova at the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme. It is a cycle of seminars, also having a research objective to learn what is going on in the field and formulate a project.
This particular session lasted all day long and aimed at the exploration of the role of design and creativity in the enterprise context. Thus, Estelle Berger talked about the role of designers from a … designer’s standpoint, highlighting the lack of discourse from the actors themselves. Then, Édouard Le Maréchale talked about creativity in enterprises from a consultant’s standpoint, focusing much on the negotiation of the enterprise clients. Mario Le Glatin presented a critique of Design Thinking having as a reference the C-K Theory, synthesizing the contributions and the limits of DT. Then, I presented my recent work on Monet, where I mobilize the framework of developer innovation to analyze the emergence of the impressionism, thus revealing the similarities between art and contemporary technological development.
