I just got back from Shanghai, where I taught innovation methods to a group of executives from various industries (Materials, Logistics, Entertainment, Automobile, Electric Power, Automation…).
The seminar Enterprise Innovation Management took place at the ISC Paris Business School partner Shanghai Fuce Enterprise Management Center. They are located at Yangpu District, a very live neighbourhood at the North of the city, dominated by Universities and students. Participants were really interested and engaged in our two-day seminar and, from what I was told, they much appreciated both its content and the pedagogical approach.
I much appreciated the hospitality of our Chinese partners, as well as our professional collaboration before and during teaching.
I also had the opportunity to meet the enthusiastic and knowledgeable team of Prof. Shufan Wu at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and get to learn about the systematic development of Cubesats.
Meanwhile, I had the chance to visit the open, modern, accessible and cosmopolitan city of Shanghai and to travel with the “bullet train” to Suzhou and see its Classic Gardens. The food was great everywhere.
Overall, I was impressed by the kindness, the dynamism and the optimism of a country in development.
